Cavanagh's Restaurant

Cavanagh's restaurant is named after Archdeacon Bartholomew Cavanagh who was parish priest of Knock - Aghamore during the time of the Apparition in 1879. Archdeacon Cavanagh built St Mary's shortly after the apparition as a place of rest for visiting priests. He served as parish priest of Knock - Aghamore from 1867 until his death in 1897. His former residence has been converted into a chapel that guests are welcome to enjoy.
